Samuel DeMuria is an Italian-American actor and singer based in NYC. He recently graduated with his MFA in acting from Yale School of Drama, and holds his BA in Theatre-Performance from the University of Missouri. Most recently Samuel has performed at the New York Theatre Workshop’s Commedia Project as well as understudying Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf and The Plot at the Yale Repertory Theatre. He was also seen in public readings of The Change You Wanted at Rattlestick Theatre, Blue Reunion at The Playwrights Workshop, and Group Fitness at West Side Festival. 

Samuel recently returned from several weeks spent in Bali, Indonesia with renowned teacher Budi Miller where he learned traditional Balinese dance, music, and performed in traditional Balinese masks. He’s always been interested in the intersection of spirituality and the creation of art, and this curiosity continues to inform his life, and his creative process. 

Samuel is conversationally fluent in Italian, and continues to take classes in Manhattan. He also frequents Bob Krakower’s on-camera workshops, among collaborations with other master teachers in the city. Samuel is a writer, poet, and musician with a passion for choral music.
